Sign inEligibility Check Failed
Select Correct in Charge entry to open a saved charge with its patient and billing details already filled in. Correct the issue, then save and recheck eligibility.
A failed or unavailable response does not mean the patient is uninsured. Inactive coverage is shown separately. This list uses saved checks; uploading charges does not run eligibility automatically.

No saved eligibility issues match
This does not confirm that every patient's insurance has been checked. Open a saved charge from Review the Charge Entered to check eligibility.
Retry check sends a new eligibility request through Stedi and may incur a transaction charge. Review the saved payer response before calling the insurer. Active coverage does not guarantee payment. A resolved issue leaves this list; prior responses remain in the claim history.
Problem List
Review rejected charges, read the clearinghouse errors, and open the charge to make corrections.

Choose Corrected Claim to edit and resubmit the saved encounter. Review the fields marked in red, then validate and review the corrected charge before sending it again. Submission history is retained. Payer rejections and uncertain submissions require reconciliation first.
Review & submit
Select saved charges to check coverage, validate, and submit. Open a charge to review its details and payer responses.

Review selected claims across pages
Selections remain when you change pages or filters. Actions apply to each selected version; changed claims require review and selection again. Eligibility responses require review; coverage is not a payment guarantee. Transmission requires validation of the current version.

Try a wider date range or clear filters. Received ERAs appear in balances only after their payments are posted.
Status Check
Find a patient's claims, review payer responses, and track payments and appeals.
Each payer column shows billed, paid, and Medicare allowable amounts. Medicare allowable comes from a Medicare remittance, when supplied; it is not a fee-schedule estimate. Missing amounts remain “Not reported.” Patient allowable is not applicable.

Duplicate Check
Find conflicting admission/follow-up charges and repeated service content before they reach the payer.
One admission or follow-up service per patient, per date
Admission: 99221 · 99222 · 99223
Follow-up: 99231 · 99232 · 99233
Any pair is flagged: admission + admission, follow-up + follow-up, or admission + follow-up. Repeated identical codes and quantities above one are included. Checks span service lines and claims, across physicians, payers, and encounter IDs.
Another charge with the same patient, service dates, physician, payer, CPT, and modifiers is also flagged. Changing the encounter ID does not create a new service. Linked secondary and tertiary claims in the same encounter are excluded.
Matches use the patient’s first name, last name, and birth date, ignoring case, spacing, and punctuation. Only records saved in this portal are checked. Discarded unsubmitted drafts are excluded.
No matching duplicate charges found
There are no matching conflicts in the saved portal records. Every claim is checked again before submission.

Use the same column names in your PatientKeeper export, or copy your data into a template.
For the staff workbook, choose the practice template once on Setup. Enter one patient, physician and date of service per row on Charges. Practice billing details come from the saved profile. Blank charge rows contain no patient data.

Verification
Check insurance for the charges in a saved CSV or Excel upload.
Verification checks the insurance selected for each charge and its date of service. Other policies on the encounter are checked with their own destination claim. Active coverage does not guarantee payment.
Opening this page or refreshing saved results does not send an eligibility request. Run Verification checks only the charges you select; it does not submit claims.
